General Field Spiral Separation
- Field — refers to the magnetic field generated in an electrical machine — often by field windings or permanent magnets.
- Spiral — could refer to the spiral arrangement of conductors, laminations, or cooling ducts — typically used to control magnetic flux distribution or manage heat.
- Separation — usually implies spacing or isolation — either physical separation of components, magnetic flux separation, or electrical insulation.
- Hydrogenerators / Turbogenerators: Spiral field arrangements are used for large-scale generators to:
- Evenly distribute magnetic flux.
- Improve efficiency and balance.
- Aid in thermal management.
- Transformers: Spiral wound core or winding arrangements with calculated separation to minimize losses and ensure insulation.
- Magnetic Bearings / MRI Machines: Where precise magnetic field control is needed in spiral layouts.
Intellectual Property
Lorem ipsum, or lipsum as it is sometimes known, is dummy text used in laying out print, graphic or web designs. The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero’s De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book.
The purpose of lorem ipsum is to create a natural looking block of text (sentence, paragraph, page, etc.) that doesn’t distract from the layout. A practice not without controversy, laying out pages with meaningless filler text can be very useful when the focus is meant to be on design, not content.
